It's been a decade since I got off the phone with Patti, (Triton's former owner). We had made a deal! I wasn't looking for another stallion, I was happy to just call & order semen whenever I needed to. I'd known Pattie was looking to move Triton, and I knew I wanted him. So there it was, he was headed my way on the next truck. I'd never met Triton, never laid eye's on him, I already knew him. I'd already raised a few of his foals and that was enough.

Today I can't say things have changed. The great thing about owning an older stallion is knowing exactly what to expect of his foals. What I knew a decade ago remains the same today. Triton passes on Brain, Beauty and Brawn. His chill brain makes a foal that's kind, sensible and amateur friendly. His beauty makes a foal that's athletic and pleasing to the eye. His brawn makes them sizeable, sturdy and built to last!
